Gerkin Windows and Doors introduces a new generation of storm doors called Cabrio. The Cabrio is highlighted by a retractable screen, which is hidden away in the head of the door when ventilation isn’t needed, thus giving a beautiful clear view!
The Cabrio is a newly designed door with beautifully rounded features outlining the 1 3/4″ thick door frame. This attractive (convertible) door offers an easy operating sash, which runs on a smooth block and tackle balance system to ensure effortless operation. The sash relies on the balances, not the screen. For protection against insects, the screen overlaps and seals the interior frame opening and has a sweep seal on the bottom of the sash. The screen will reset itself to the proper position if pushed or blown in.
